Retired police officer, Tom O' Connor, had taken on a job as a security guard at the Brinks depot in Rochester. On a trip to Northern Ireland he befriended Samuel Millar, an IRA member and convicted terrorist. In January 1993, the Brink depot was robbed of $7.4 million. With few other leads, the cops considered that O'Connor might be involved. After a thorough investigation it was revealed that O’Connor, Millar and a priest, Father Patrick Maloney were responsible for Rochester’s biggest heist
