'The Bourne Ultimatum' Promotion
Terms & Conditions

1.    This Promotion is open to all UK, Isle of Man, Channel Island and Republic of Ireland residents, aged 18 years or over. Proof of age may be required.  Employees (or family members of employees) of any British Sky Broadcasting Group company, companies associated with the Promotion and all affiliates of such companies (collectively “the Companies”) may not enter any prize draw,  competition or Promotion.

2.    All entrants  agree to accept the Sky Cast website Terms of Use and these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them on entering the Promotion.

3.    To take part in this Promotion you will need to upload your ‘Bourne’ tagged video and/or videos via the SkyCast website.  All videos uploaded via SkyCast are reviewed by the Promoter to ensure compliance with SkyCast Terms of Use .  Unless otherwise stated, if a video is deemed by the Promoter to have complied with the SkyCast Terms of Use (and therefore be deemed an “accepted” video), it will be entered into the Promotion.  Any ‘Bourne’ video that does not meet Sky Cast Terms of Use will be rejected by the Promoter, and will therefore not be entered into the Promotion, or appear on SkyCast.

4.    The Promoter does not accept responsibility for network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your video. 

5.    Closing Date for the receipt by the Promoter of ‘Bourne’ video  accepted uploads is 11.59pm on 9th August 2007.   Entrants are advised to submit their entries some time in advance of the Closing Date as no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for videos that are delayed in systems and deemed to have been “accepted” by the Promoter after the Closing Date. Any entries received after the Closing Date will be disqualified.

6.    One winner will be selected at the Promoter’s absolute editorial discretion based on who the Promoter thinks has submitted the best performance in an accepted ‘Bourne’ tagged video uploaded via SkyCast and received by the Promoter by the Closing Date of the Promotion

7.    The winner will be notified by email by 12pm on 12 August 2007

8.    The prize is a ‘red carpet’ position for the winner to film interviews with the stars (subject to availability), a pair of tickets for the winner and their guest to the Premiere screening of ‘The Bourne Ultimatum,’ and one night’s accommodation for the winner and their guest on a bed & breakfast basis. 

9.    The prize also includes travel (by any reasonable method at the Promoter’s discretion) for the winner and their guest from the winner’s home to the Premiere in London, and return travel from the winner’s hotel to their home. The Premiere is scheduled to take place in London on the evening of 15th August; the winner and their guest will stay overnight at the hotel and return to the winner's home on 16th August.

10.    The filming of the event including possible interviews between winner and stars may be shown on Sky TV at the Promoter’s sole discretion. The winner may be chaperoned by a Promoter representative while they are on the ‘red carpet’ and must behave responsibly following any reasonable instructions from the Promoter at all times.  The winner will allow themselves to be filmed as the Promoter reasonably requests  and for this to be shown on Sky TV (or anywhere else the Promoter wants to use) without payment and also without obtaining any additional consent.

11.    With regard to the prize the winner’s guest must be aged 18 or over and the dress code for all aspects of the prize is smart casual.

12.    There is no cash alternative to the prize (or any part of it) and unless agreed otherwise in writing the prize is non-refundable and non transferable.

13.    The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or any part of it) for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its control.

14.    Except in the case of death or personal injury arising from its negligence or in respect of fraud and so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its associated companies and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities arising from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize details beyond the Promoter’s control and for any act or default of any travel company, hotel or any other third party supplier.

15.    The terms and conditions of any third party supplier will apply to the prize where applicable.

16.    The Promoter will not be liable for any applicable part of the prize that does not reach the winner for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.

17.    If the winner is not able, for whatever reason, to accept the prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.

18.    The Promoter’s decision is final and legally binding on all entrants.  No correspondence will be entered into.  Entries that do not comply in full with these entry rules and conditions will be disqualified.

19.    Details of the prize winner’s name and county will be available for one month after the Closing Date by emailing contactus@skycast.com

20.    The name, county and photograph of the winner may be used by the Promoter and its associated companies for post-event publicity purposes.

21.    The Promoter will keep details of any entry that you make.  By entering the Promotion you allow us to see and share this information with other Companies including for sales, marketing and market research purposes and to send you information by email about our products/services.
